Wait, Are You Forgetting Something?

We notice that our customers greatly prefer buying tops and dresses at Juvie than boy's pants, shorts, and jeans, or girl's pants, jeans, skirts, shorts or leggings. In fact, we sell about twice as many tops, hoodies, t-shirts, etc. as we do coordinating garments for below the waist.  But we know that you don't let your kids leave the house without bottoms (Hel-LO, you're not Taylor Momsen's mother!).  So, what gives?

I think I know.  It's fit, right?  You're worried that the jeans/shorts/leggings are going to be too big or too small, too short or too long, aren't you?

We hate to think that your kid is  missing out on the great jeans we have from It Jeans and Joe's Jeans, or pants and shorts from Charlie Rocket and Wes and Willy because you're worried about sizing issues.  Here are some tips to choosing the right size so you can take advantage of the full range of Juvie's selection, and avoid that dreaded trip to the mall.

1.  If you're not sure what size your kid is wearing these days, you can rely pretty heavily on our size charts.  If your child isn't around while you're shopping, try measuring an item of clothing currently in his or her wardrobe instead.

2.  In general, our lines run smaller than big box discount stores.  Some of that is because the style is a slimmer silhouette (especially for boys).  If you like a looser, baggier fit, order a size up.

3. If we find that a particular item is running big or small, we'll note it in the item's description. 

4.  If you still aren't sure, please email us at sales@juvieshop.com.  Tell us the item number and what sizes you think might work, and we'll send you measurements (often within an hour if you write during the business day).  Or, if you'd like some general information on how a particular item or designer's line is running, give us a call.  You'll find our business number at the top of every page on Juvie's website.

We notice that when people order jeans or pants or shorts from us, we almost never get returns or exchanges because the sizing on our lines is pretty consistent.  But if you do need to exchange an item, don't fret.  Just send it back using the address label on the back of your invoice.  We'll send out the new item the same day we receive your return, with no additional shipping charge for you.
