We've been fielding the same question a lot lately here in the store:

"Is that a shirt, or a dress?"

To which we reply, "Both!"

Designers have seen the utility and fun of tunic dresses this year like never before. Knowing the way that tween girls dress, this does make the most sense. Pairing a fancy top over jeans looks fabulous and hip, and gives girls a level of comfort and coverage that works for busy days and cooler weather.

But we also love that the tunic dress can be worn by itself, or over tights and leggings, for a dressier look.
