If Their Heads Weren't Attached to Their Bodies...

I swear, they would leave them on the floor next to the dirty clothes and last night's homework assignment.

Why is it that kids who pretty much had it together from ages 6-11 suddenly start walking around in a gooey, preoccupied, forgetful fog when they hit 12?

I think I know the answer, and won't go into the biology here. But my oh my, it sure would be nice to not have to remind them to do every little thing 47 times a day, wouldn't it?

That's why we carry some excellent accessories here at Juvie, otherwise known as Organizational Aids for the Pre-Teen Brain. First on the list? The brilliant Doorganizer.

This gem hangs on the door and jogs everyone on their way out of the house to please, please, please remember their keys, cell phone, lunch money, and signed school papers.

Jumbo stick-it notes are another way to leave what might not be so subtle a reminder to your high-achieving but perhaps overscheduled and slightly muddled child.

And for that book overspill...

Who knows...with the right tools, maybe your dreamy, disorganized tween will manage to turn that homework in, make their bed, and RSVP to their friend's birthday party, all on the same day!
